Rossi & Rossi is a family company based in Caorle, a town near Venice, who gives you the possibility to take contact with the original italian artisanal art expression and tradition in glass.
Our history begun in 1994 when Patrizia and her father, Paolo, started a new business in glass gadgets, painting and restoring wood fornitures. Patrizia's family was already involved in art decorations, both from father and mother side, since the beginning of XX sec, through her grandfathers, both painters.
We started to work with venetian glass shops and wholesalers making little glass gadgets and decorations for home fornitures.
Painted Minibottles with a Murano Glass cup, candle-holders and vases were our first successful items we sold for many years in Venice and abroad
Patrizia's painting technique was a peculiar mix of materials and a very fast hand always matching creativity e new ideas, not only applied to objects, but also in painting on wood and canvas.
In 1996, Marco, is involved on the company, beginning as assistant to Paolo's lampworks. Some years later he takes a class in glass blowing by lamp at Murano's glass school Abate Zanetti.
In 2001, following the market trends, the company focuses on glass jewelry, starting to produce refined pendants (we have been the first company to create some peculiar shapes like Drops, Stars and later the Roses ), rings, bracelets, earrings. Our stylish jewelry swiftly match the taste of venetians shoppers and foreign wholesalers ensuring to Rossi & Rossi an excellent reputation, lasting till today.
We continued to produce furnishings, like vases and mirrors, but only for retail market in our retail shop in Caorle, in the Historic center of the town and later in our main site, Via Pretoriana 9/A.
In 2010, great success, expecially in Venice, was achieved by the Roses style, including Pendants, bracelets and earrings. The following years we Produced the Ribbons and the cabochons styles, well sold expecially in Japan.
In the last five years we refinined and extended our colors shades (at the moment we have a color and style database including more than 200 variations), with new shapes in glass jewelry every year.
In artworks, we are working on bas-reliefs to be placed in wood or marble surfaces, for home fornitures, accessories and also tombstones.
